Parted Magic - a package of utilities for work with sections of a hard disk on the basis of loading CD Linux. Allows to make various operations over sections and supports a considerable quantity of file systems.

In total structure Parted Magic includes 70 various utilities for check of a condition of disks, monitoring, copying, archiving of the data. File systems ext2, ext3, ext4, fat16, fat32, hfs, hfs +, jfs, linux-swap, ntfs, xfs, reiserfs, reiser4 are supported. Loading Parted Magic can be carried out from CD, an USB-disk or on a network.
